Engagement Session on Percy Priest Lake

I’m so excited to share this Nashville Percy Priest Lake Engagement session with my internet peeps!  Haley & Tom wanted to do both a fancy schmancy studio set along with a set out on the lake! It’s a shame they aren’t photogenic in any way, what-so-ever, at all. 😉

One of my favorite things about being a Nashville Wedding Photographer is working with the couples during their engagement session.  For a lot of couples, this is their first time working with a photographer, and it can feel totally strange and awkward in front of the camera… It starts with questions like “What do I do with my hands?”, “Am I supposed to be smiling?” “Does this look okay?” and then by the end of the session, with a little coaching from me, their Nashville Wedding Photographer, THEY GOT THIS DOWN PAT.  The cute smiles, the tight squeezes, the “sm-eye-les” (smiling with your eyes!) all come out and I don’t even have to direct them by the end of the session! It’s a really cool thing to see.. and not to mention, they feel more comfortable on their wedding day now that they’ve got a warm up Nashville engagement photography session in!

I cannot wait for their wedding at Bell Tower in July!!! (And once that happens, I can share some of Haley’s bridal session photos… SO MANY HEART EYES!!)
