I first met Meagan at one of my favorite Nashville wedding venues, Carnton Plantation, while she was coordinating a wedding that I was photographing a few years ago! I really enjoyed working along side of her, she’s super sweet and kept the day running smoothly while maintaining a laid-back temperament (which can be challenging on wedding days!). Fast forward a few years later, I received an e-mail from her that she was getting married and was looking for a photographer for her own wedding! I was absolutely thrilled and honored that she reached out to me!
Meagan and Samuel’s engagement session was one of my absolute favorite that I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing. We shot at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm and these two were MAGIC in front of the camera! I never had the chance to blog their engagement session as I get a little bit behind during that time of year, but I want to post some of my favorites from their session real quick:
They are absolutely precious! I was really looking forward to their winter wedding at Christ Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee, and let me tell you, they sure set the bar high in 2018! They had their first look at Harlinsdale and it was FRIGID, but they were troopers (frozen troopers, nonetheless) and we got some AMAZING shots!
Their ceremony included a circular seating plan that was absolutely darling. One of my favorite moments was when the parents got up on stage and prayed with them before the ceremony concluded (I also loved the moments where Meagan and her family prayed while she was getting ready. SO SWEET.) I could tell that Meagan & Samuel are surrounded by a massive amount love. I love being able to witness & document that as one of Nashville’s wedding photographers.
You probably want me to stop gushing right about now, so let’s get to the photos of Meagan & Samuel’s wedding at Christ Community Church! Enjoy!
Meagan wore her mother’s wedding dress. I can only imagine how emotional this moment was for her mom to see her baby girl in the dress she wore when she got married! I melt.
And now it’s time for a HUGE shoutout to some of Nashville’s most amazing wedding vendors that played a part in making this day so amazing!:
