As your Nashville TN Wedding Photographer, don’t be surprised when I ask how your wedding planning is coming along. I will genuinely gush over your chair covers and party favors and signature cocktail garnishes. And if the forecast calls for rain on your wedding day, know that I’ll be there singing Alanis Morrissette’s “Ironic” while assuring you that we are going to be taking some AMAZING, romantic photographs of you and your fiancé snuggled in close under an umbrella. If things are running behind, or if there is a problem- YO, I’ll solve it. [Check out the hook while my DJ revolves it.] I’m sorry. I’m a 90’s kid. What I’m trying to say is… I’m not your average Nashville wedding photographer. I am passionate about this industry for many reasons, but the most important reason is because I adore my clients. Coffee dates and text messages often resume post-wedding because many of my clients become my great friends. I’m proud of my photography but the relationships that I have with my clients are, by far, the most gratifying part of this ‘job.’
I do apologize in advance– if “Cupid Shuffle” comes on during your reception I might be dancing next to you by the end of the song. I’m still trying to figure out that “Wobble” dance, though– it might look like I know what I’m doing but really I’m just writing my name with my bum in cursive and I’m passing it off as dancing. It’s gotten me by so far!
OH! ….and rest-assured, if the Zombie Apocalypse breaks out during your ceremony, I’ll be equal parts Nashville wedding photographer and Darryl Dixon. You can count on that!
And I like cats.

I adore the intimacy of elopements! Whether you are eloping in your backyard or on a mountaintop (or if your backyard is a mountaintop), I would love to document your story. Weekday Elopement packages begin at $1800 for 4 hours of coverage.

"My photos turned out better than I could have imagined. One in particular looks like a Renaissance painting, which is precisely the kind of standout, unique photography I was after. She was also wonderful at wrangling my family members who were more interested in drinking than in standing still for photo opps. And I don't think I've ever seen my husband look so natural in photographs before. Every photo of him made me fall in love over again. She even snapped a couple stunning photos of my darling Pomeranians that I plan to frame and keep on my desk at work. In short, I couldn't recommend Laura's services more. You will receive your gallery within a quick 4-6 weeks. I always deliver a sneak peek from your wedding day within a day or two after your wedding to share with family and friends on social media!

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY PHOTOS BACK?
It's dependent on a few different variables, but I typically deliver around 100 photos per hour of coverage!
YES! I love to travel for weddings, I recently had the opportunity to photograph a wedding in Ireland and it was LIFE. My passport is ready, MY BAGS ARE PACKED. TAKE ME WITH YOU!
If your venue is within driving distance, it’s 55 cents a mile (roundtrip) from Nashville. First 100 roundtrip miles are included in your package. Otherwise, travel fees are based on flight and travel accommodations.
HOW MANY IMAGES DO I RECEIVE IN MY WEDDING GALLERY?

Ok, this isn’t a frequently asked question, but I have gotten asked this once in regards to vendor meals during your reception. The answer? I don’t eat chicken or anything that once had a face. I will, however, get down with some waffles. MMM…. waffles.
I require a consultation ( in-person or facetime ) along with a signed contract and retainer. And a friendship bracelet.
I’m totally down for shot requests… but I’m not down for copying. Let’s create our *own* pin-worthy photos. Sound good?

NEED? No, just as you don’t NEED a hair and makeup run-through. Recommended? ABSOLUTELY. 100%! Engagement sessions give us a chance to get comfortable with one another before your wedding. I also get to work on posing with you in a less-constrained amount of time, so your quick wedding day portrait session will be a breeze!
