The Westbury House Wedding | Columbia, TN
Nashville Wedding Photographer Laura K. Allen
“Rain on your wedding day is good luck.”
I mean, sure, I can get down with that. But from a wedding photographer’s perspective, it has the potential to be a bummer… especially since Blair and Clark picked out a beautiful outdoor location to do their first look and wedding photos at. I had obsessively stalked the forecast all week, and every time, RAIN.
Blair had nonchalantly mentioned that The Westbury House had a a 3rd and 4th floor that was unfinished, but had some nice window light. When I walked upstairs to check out what I was working with, I had ALL THE HEARTS IN MY EYES. It was literally like a photographer’s oasis. You’ll see what I mean when you start scrolling through the photos. 🙂
Blair and Clark had an absolutely perfect day, rain and all! The rain actually stopped for us and we were able to head outside to do some bride and groom portraits after the ceremony. There is an adorable little alley way with string lights next to The Westbury House that we were able to take advantage of! I adored getting to photograph all of the dancing and FUN that was had at the reception, including the part where their friends serenaded Blair & Clark with “I Want it That Way” by the Backstreet Boys. SO. GOOD.
A very big shout out goes out to all of the vendors involved with this BEAUTIFUL wedding! Please follow them on Instagram!

Oh Laura…. these are amazing! I seriously swoon over every one of your weddings but this one has got me all heart eyed over here! Thank black ceiling is pretty awesome too! Westbury House is such a gorgeous venue, but seriously with a killer Wedding Photographer like you any venue is incredible.
Wow! Westbury House seems like the perfect venue for a wedding. So jealous of this couple who got to have you as their photographer! I wish I’d known you
back when I got married.
What a beautiful bride, gorgeous wedding and the location where you took some of the bride/groom photos is amazing for lighting purposes. You are my favorite Nashville Wedding Photographer.
That unfinished 3rd and 4th floor though! I love how as a Nashville TN wedding photographer you are quick on your feet and manage to still capture some breathtakingly beautiful first look images! The Westbury House looks like such a gorgeous location for a wedding!
