Lizz Hoard of Elizabeth Hoard Photography and Emily Hatch of The Hatches invited me along with a few other rad, fearless photographers & videographers to be instructors at their new workshop: The Real Workshop. Lizz & Emily saw a need for a workshop that teaches real, practical information (more stuff, less fluff!) about all facets of being a wedding photographer, so they created a workshop that does just that!
I am incredibly passionate about the wedding photography industry and it brings me great joy to share my knowledge with other wedding photographers. I was asked to teach lectures on Style & Consistency (along side the amazing Kate Anthony!), Search Engine Optimization (along with Lizz Hoard), and also Cocktail-Hour Portraits (and how to capture a variety of images while managing the chaos that ensues during group portraits!). All of the classes were jam-packed with information that the attendees got to put to use during the workshop!
We also had shoots scheduled (including one during the middle of the day when the light is the most challenging to work with) for the attendees to add some badass images to their portfolios.
The Real Workshop will be back in July 2018 with the same instructors + some guest speakers and I CAN.NOT.WAIT. It was such a life-changing experience!! Check out some of the shots below from the shoots!

Looks like you all had a blast at the workshop! I’m not a wedding photographer, but if I were I would definitely like to learn from you. You are incredibly talented and great at what you do! Those other Nashville photographers are lucky to have been able to learn from you.
This workshop looks amazing! I love that you guys focused so much on the things that truly challenge us as a wedding photographer. Nashville is so lucky to have a photographer that invests so much into her talent. Keep killing it, lady!
